When we first sat down to conceptualize Ledger & Ladle, we had a big decision to make. What will we serve? There are so many wonderful cuisines and techniques that would be a new addition to our community. The options were boundless, and we couldn’t agree on one that fit us just right.

So, we are going to do them all!

No, you won’t be handed a three-mile-long menu with options from curry to fried chicken when you dine with us, that would be disjointed, and likely do a disservice to the quality of product we are able to provide. Rather, we will focus on a different region, techniques, or, even, ingredients every 3-4 months. This allows us to dig into each concept deeply, while maintaining the standard of food and service we aim to provide. You may dine with us in March and enjoy a menu honoring the seafoods of Normandy, France. In late July, you may be greeted with the bold flavors of American low country, southern fare. When you return in September, the menu could be a focus on the new Nordic movement and the fall bounty of our region. We mean it when we say, “food for the culinary curious”!

The best way to think about Ledger & Ladle, is a rotating restaurant. No, you won’t be able to always come back for that one ‘favorite’ dish you had, but you will get an opportunity to constantly find new favorites! We are excited to take you on this journey with us, to learn, grow, and enjoy the wide world of food. We can’t wait to welcome you to our ever-changing table.
